Becky Haglund earned her B.S.N. from California State College, Los Angeles and her Master’s degree in Nursing from U.C.L.A. She has worked at the bedside in both critical care and emergency care for 32 years. The majority of her clinical
experience has been in teaching hospitals, UCI Medical Center and U.C.L.A. She has taught nursing at Santa Ana College since 1982. She especially enjoys the challenges that are seen with this high acuity respiratory patient population.
Course Description
Using both subjective and objective data, this one day course follows the CCRN Blueprint for Respiratory Care. Discussion will include care and management of critical care patients with the following respiratory difficulties.
· Acute Respiratory Failure requiring mechanical ventilation
· Status Asthmaticus
· Pulmonary Embolism
· Chest Trauma requiring the use of chest tubes
· Acute Pneumonia
· Acute Inhalation Injury

Cancellations/Refunds
Cancellations made less then 14 days prior to
class will require a $25.00 processing fee.
After class start date, no refunds or credits will
be given. No refunds will be given for "No Shows".
In the unlikely event that a course cancellation is
required by this company, only tuition fees will
be reimbursed.
