Stroke Program Manager Contributed with the development of Ischemic, Intraparenchymal, Hemorrhagic Stroke policies, algorithms, and orders.
- Assisted with the Joint Commission Primary Stroke certification process.
- Oversee the compliance and variance tracking of in-patient stroke critical pathways and emergency department algorithm
- Participated in the collection of quality improvement data-Participated in the University Health System Consortium Stroke Benchmarking Project.
- Involved in several committees-Multidisciplinary Stroke Work Group, Performance Improvement, Stroke and Cerebrovascular Steering Committee, Stroke and Cerebrovascular Conference, Executive Stroke Prevention

- Full time Staff Nurse in-Critical Care- Neuro ICU. When needed worked in the Burn ICU, MICU, and SICU.
- Assist Neuro Surgeons with ICP Placement, Ventriculostomy, Licox-brain oxygenation monitor, and recover patients from post-op Neuro surgery. Educated in EEG monitoring and Stroke Protocol.
- Educate patients and families regarding ICU policies /procedures and pre/post operative procedures.
- Train new staff members and provided comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Participate in patient rounds with Physicians, Dietician, Pharmacist, social workers to assure excellence in care.
